Fuel Hazard Assessments – Reopening Soon

We’ll be reopening the Fuel Hazard Assessment request form soon with an updated scheduling process designed to:

  • Improve communication
  • Streamline appointment scheduling
  • Maximize time spent on in-field assessments

Due to high demand and limited field capacity, appointments will be scheduled based on availability, and wait times may occur.

Want to be first in line?

Join our interest list to let us know you’re interested. We’ll contact you directly as appointments become available. This approach allows residents to express interest now while helping us provide timely, high-quality assessments across the community.

We appreciate your patience as we improve this process and continue working together to keep Ken-Caryl Ranch safe.

Living Next to Open Space

If your property borders open space, you may maintain a 10-foot defensible space buffer.

  • Mow grasses (minimum height 4 inches)
  • Remove dead branches or logs
  • Remove woody vegetation up to 4 inches in diameter
  • Removing vegetation beyond the 10-foot buffer
  • Pruning trees over 4 inches in diameter
  • Dumping or storing materials like branches or grass clippings
  • Installing structures, landscaping, fences or play equipment
